Thomas Honour Mortgage Services is a family-run business, born from a deep desire to help people make their dreams a reality and obtain the finance they need for the property they want.
Today, they are a passionate team of three, committed to delivering a welcoming, professional service which enables people to gain access to better deals, leading to a happier lifestyle.
They are friendly, honorable and devoted to their clients. This is what they’d love to be known for and the reason why most of their clients come to them from referrals.
Founder and owner of Thomas Honour Mortgage Services, Tom started his career in Financial Services in 2006, where he discovered he had an aptitude for customer service and people management. He worked as a Branch Manager for an Oxford-based building society and shortly afterwards became CeMAP qualified, advised and supervised on mortgages and protection, where his love affair with mortgages began.
A few years after the banking crisis, in 2014, Tom saw an opportunity to move forward his career in mortgage finance and became a self-build mortgage specialist, financing very interesting projects, many of which appeared on Channel 4’s programme, Grand Designs.
He continued to develop his expertise in mortgage lending as Head of Sales in an Oxfordshire-based mortgage brokerage, where he built and managed a successful team.
The birth of his daughter in 2019 acted as a catalyst for Tom’s new business venture, Thomas Honour. Tom’s desire to take care of the baby, who was in poor health, combined with his passion for helping people access better mortgage deals, fuelled his ambition to set up his own mortgage firm.
Today Tom leads a rapidly growing team and his business has been shortlisted for Best Broker at The Mortgage Introducer Awards 2020.
Tom is a real people person, with an inborn talent for leadership. He uses this talent to educate people to make better mortgage and home-buying decisions using Thomas Honour’s social media channels to share his knowledge of the industry.
When he’s not at work, Tom enjoys spending time with his three children, Alfie, Bertie and Winnie, and long-time partner, Samantha at their home in Brackley. He loves his community and is an avid fan of Tottenham Hotspur.
Hannah’s career began in retail at the luxury outlet, Bicester Village, where she diligently worked her way up the ladder to retail management, managing large stores across the outlet and in the city of Oxford.
Six years later, Hannah’s adventurous nature moved her on to pastures new, starting a new career as a PA and Office Manager for an Events company. This role drove Hannah’s personal ambition to develop her skills in event management, an ambition that was soon fulfilled when Hannah became Events Coordinator for the 2012 London Olympics.
Today and after a short career break to have her children, Hannah is Thomas Honour’s PA. She’s passionate about bringing her expertise in retail and event management to the thriving young company. Being results driven, determined and always looking to gain new experiences, she’d found the dynamic but flexible environment at Thomas Honour to be her perfect fit.
At home, Hannah is completely devoted to her husband, three young children and their puppy, Maeva. She takes pleasure in the time spent with friends and family, creating memories they can all cherish in years to come. And when she gets a rare moment to herself, she enjoys a trip to the beauty salon or getting stuck into a good book.
In her spare time, Hannah loves travelling, exploring new places and cultures, a pleasure she combines with her love for food. From local little cafes to Michelin-star restaurants, Hannah’s insatiable taste buds want them all.
