In 2014, in the wake of the banking crisis, Thomas seized a pivotal opportunity to advance his career in the mortgage industry. He transitioned into the role of a self-build mortgage specialist, providing financing for intriguing and diverse projects. Many of these projects gained recognition on Channel 4’s popular program, Grand Designs.

The birth of his daughter in 2019 marked a significant turning point in Thomas’s life. His daughter’s health challenges prompted him to reassess his priorities. Today, Thomas serves as the driving force behind an expanding team at Thomas Honour Mortgage Services.
